Endodontic treatment (Root canal treatment)

Preserve your teeth with professional care. Endodontic treatment, also known as root canal treatment, is a procedure that can save your tooth and eliminate pain associated with its damage or infection. Our clinic provides first-class endodontic services using the latest technologies and methods to restore the health and functionality of your tooth.

Why is endodontic treatment important?

  1. Preservation of your own tooth: Treatment allows you to keep a tooth that would otherwise need to be extracted.
  2. Pain relief: An infected or damaged tooth can cause severe pain; root canal treatment eliminates this pain.
  3. Prevention of infection spread: Treatment prevents the spread of infection to neighboring teeth, bone structures, or other organs and systems of the body.
  4. Aesthetic and functional benefits: After treatment and subsequent restoration of the tooth, its aesthetics and functionality are restored.

How is endodontic treatment performed?

  1. Thorough diagnosis: The initial stage involves a thorough diagnosis using digital X-rays and 3DCT (computer tomography) to determine the extent of the damage.
  2. Anesthesia: Local anesthesia is administered for a painless procedure.
  3. Access to the root canals: The infected or damaged part of the tooth is removed, and access to its root canals is obtained.
  4. Cleaning and shaping: The root canals are thoroughly cleaned and then shaped for subsequent filling. During cleaning, we always use a microscope. Most dentists do not use a microscope, which leads to additional problems in providing poor quality assistance.
  5. Filling: The canals are filled with a biocompatible material, which ensures their tightness and prevents recontamination.
  6. Restoration of the tooth: After endodontic treatment, the coronal part of the tooth is restored to restore its full functionality and aesthetics.
  7. Use of a microscope from the German manufacturer CJ Optik
